Your role and responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Digital Sales Lead to join our Energy Industries Sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for digital sales and a proven track record in the field. This position requires a combination of creativity and high listening capability to promote and sell innovative digital solutions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong results-oriented approach.
The Energy Industries Division integrates automation, electrification, instrumentation to enable customers’ business transformation in a converging IT/OT environment.
The work model for the role is: hybrid
This role is contributing to the Process Automation (PA)/ Energy Industries (PAEN) in Turkiye.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Develop and implement Energy Industries digital sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Identify and develop new potential digital markets, customers, and solutions,
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop and promote digital offerings
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers by providing ongoing support and tailored Digital solutions
- Demonstrate the value of solutions by preparing and sharing ROI analyses and relevant business cases
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities
- Analyzing the customer’s system architecture and performing gap analysis according to the IEC62443 Reference architecture
- Provides technical support during the technical meeting to present Cyber Security, Asset Performance, Energy Optimization and other digital solutions
- Prepares/supports preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, Local Business Unit/feeder factory instructions and Sales organization directives
- Analyzes customer needs and competitor offering through general market information and information provided by the Sales organization

Qualifications for the role
- Proven experience and solid networking in a digital sales role, preferably in the industrial or IT/OT sector
- Ability to articulate a vision for the customer’s digital journey based on knowledge of customers’ business and ABB offerings, providing clarity on ultimate destination and a stepwise plan for getting there
- Strong ability in building and selling digital solutions anticipating unexpressed customer needs
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Information Technologies, Automation or similar
- Solid knowledge of ROI calculation, data analysis, and business case development
- Experience within software development lifecycle (design, architecture, development, and deployment) or IT technical sales is desirable
- 3 or more years’ experience in Cyber Security, Predictive Maintenance, Sustainability and Manufacturing Digital Applications, deep understanding of relevant technologies and trends
- Knowledge about ISO27001, IEC 62443 Reference Architecture rules and Cyber Security aspect
- Good command of of English and Turkish
- Availability to short / medium period business travels to perform on site support activities
- Industry expertise in Power Generation, Water, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, and Refineries
- Proficiency in ABB control Systems (800xA, Symphony Plus, Freelance) is a plus
