Job Description:

As Country Manager – SCS Turkey, you will oversee all aspects of the SCS business in Turkey covering Freight Forwarding and Logistic & Distribution. You will be responsible for P&L ownership, business growth, operational excellence, team leadership, and customer satisfaction. This is a high-impact leadership role that demands strategic thinking, executional discipline, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the SCS Turkey organization in alignment with regional and global strategies.
  • Drive business development initiatives to grow market share across target sectors.
  • Manage full P&L for the country, ensuring financial targets and KPIs are met.
  • Ensure operational efficiency and compliance with UPS standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team across operations, sales, customer service, and support functions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Represent UPS SCS in industry forums and local government agencies as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain management or logistics, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of the Turkish logistics market and regulatory environment.
  • Proven track record in P&L management, strategic planning, and team leadership.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and Turkish.
  • Willingness to travel if required.
  • Residing in Istanbul
