The Associate Brand Manager makes an impact by –
- Owns and leads projects and activities within and outside of the company that will result in successful implementation of marketing plans.
- Identifies growth opportunities including promotion, product innovation, pricing, product optimizations, retail/shopper programs, and other key actions that could affect overall profit and share position.
- Monitors performance indicators and provides in-depth analysis by product line, SKU, distributor, sales region, and financial impact to determine growth opportunities.
- Develops and manages integrated media strategies across organic and paid channels to support brand awareness, engagement, and conversion objectives.
- Analyzes data and other information to draw insights and conclusions to make tactical business decisions related to the business environment, competitors, customers, market trends, and impacts to our area of responsibility.
- Engages directly with the sales team and other functional areas including Research & Development, Legal, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, as well as customers to drive results.
- Communicates strategic initiatives and analysis of business results to senior leadership and other audiences.
- Completes monthly forecasts and budget projections.
- Performs all duties within established Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations, fleet safety and general safety guidelines, including the use of all personal protective equipment and devices as required.
- Provides guidance to assure programs, policies and practices are implemented and effective to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements.
- Supports the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the Safe Quality Food (SQF) 2000 System.
- Holds all employees accountable to the Turkey Hill Food Safety and Quality Principles.
- Demonstrates knowledge of continuous improvement and lean methodology.
- Demonstrates the ability to engage and coach associates to effectively work in department and cross-functional teams to define and implement process improvements that provide value to the customer.
- Demonstrates the ability to lead or facilitate department and cross-functional teams through implementation of continuous improvement projects.
- Performs all other tasks as assigned by their supervisor.

- B.S. or B.A. in Marketing or similar field of study (MBA preferred but not required).
- 3+ years of brand marketing experience preferred, ideally with consumer-packaged goods (CPG).
- Strong ability to understand consumer needs, route-to-market channels, and price pack architecture.
- Strong critical thinking and data analytics ability.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate across a cross-functional team of stakeholders and drive decision-making.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills to execute tasks within tight timeframes and deadlines.
- Strong project management skills and familiarity with project management processes.
- Agility to shift and adapt to changing priorities, proactively anticipating obstacles and seeking alternative solutions to keep projects on track.
- Strong business and financial acumen and general management approach.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Abilities permitting, openness and willingness to taste and refine flavor profiles of various products across several CPG categories including Frozen Desserts and Refrigerated Beverages is highly encouraged.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and Word required. Ability to learn and adapt to new software and platforms is highly encouraged.
- Experience with Circana Unify/IRI/Nielsen IQ or other retail sales data and consumer panel data not required but highly encouraged.
Physical Demands –
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
- The employee is required to talk and/or hear in an office setting (noise level is low) and manufacturing setting where noise levels can be high (PPE required).
- The employee is frequently required to stand and walk in an office or manufacturing environment from 4-8+ hours.
- The employee must be able to ascend and descend stairs, and where applicable and when necessary, to perform various job-related tasks
- Must be able to position self to move, reach with arms/hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed to perform various job-related tasks
- The employee must be able to inspect all job-related equipment (office or floor) to ensure it is in good working condition prior to use. Must be able to use hands/fingers to handle (or feel) to operate various types of office equipment.
- Must be able to operate all job-related equipment (powered, hand or office) as required
- Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and adjust focus
- Ability to lift 20 pounds and/or push/pull 20 pounds on a regular or occasional basis
