We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Accounting Senior Supervisor to join our team in our finance team in Istanbul.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for timely and accurate reporting of financial statements in accordance with local requirements, US GAAP and PepsiCo reporting rules and deliver business priorities to sustain effective control environment for PO1 Organized Trade (OT) channel.
  • Maintain efficient, well-controlled and optimized S2C cycles for OT channel and provide financial stewardship of company assets and activities by safeguarding company assets.
  • As Control Owner, to ensure controls under responsibility are executed properly, potential gaps are identified, actions are taken
  • Ensure accurate, timely preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly and annual reports, variance analyses in accordance with PepsiCo Policies and Procedures. Conduct FLT ledger closing.
  • Ensure accruals are calculated and booked in accordance with Pepsico policy and procedures on time.
  • Monitoring & Controlling & Approving all activities under third party service provider (Platin) responsibility very closely and take proactive actions for process simplifications.
  • Monitoring OT customer reconciliations on a timely basis and lead for necessary actions.
  • Lead accounting process for OT customers. Ensure invoicing process completed on time accurately.
  • Ensure OT customers’ receivable balances reported accurately.
  • Ensure OT customers’ payments are received on time, tracking aging report periodically to improve cash flow.
  • Provide a collection forecast for OT channel and make variance analysis.
  • Ensure OT channel DSO and overdue trend analyzes are prepared accurately on time.
  • Checking computability of OT-Agreement and also computability of customer agreements to Pepsico Policies.
  • Ensure close communication and stakeholder management between Third Party Service Provider and PepsiCo
  • Supporting internal and external audits, corporate audits for all cycles under responsibility. Ensure necessary actions are taken on time to mitigate risk.
  • Providing periodic timesheet of the team-members, analyzing workloads and taking proper & correct actions.
  • Supporting DRs on their development areas for effective results and identify opportunities for all team-members.
  • Continuous training of his/her organization and third-party service provider.
  • Stakeholder management for OT channel.
  • Ensure timely support provided to Tax department for reports and ad-hoc requests.
  • Pursue digitalization and simplification opportunities in systems (Oracle & Pepsell) and processes constantly.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years’ experience in Finance with strong control background
  • Bachelor of Accounting/Finance subject
  • Solid understanding of business levers
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Strong internal and external communicator, influencer, and negotiator
  • Ability to set and priorities short-, mid- and long-term objectives
  • High energy and strong curiosity for learning
  • Motivated to change and simplify processes
  • Deep understanding of financial management principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English & Turkish
