This role sits within ABB’s Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We’re entering an exciting new chapter as we’ve announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. SoftBank is a globally recognized technology group and investor/operator focused on AI, robotics, and next-generation computing. This Position reports to:

Business Manager – Commercial&Operations

Your role and responsibilities

  • Ensures relevant marketing communication strategy and plans align with global marketing, corporate, and country communications strategies and guidelines
  • Responsible for selecting relevant marketing communications tools, adapting, translating, and implementing, as required, to support sales initiatives and meet the company’s objectives in the local Robotics business
  • Stimulates lead generation, Leads planning & execution of digital campaigns with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with division strategy and budget while monitoring market dynamics and opportunities
  • Raises our digital bar across content, UX and channel operations; plan and implement digital initiatives and a roadmap covering website development, SEO, social and digital content
  • Ensures sound communication across multiple & appropriate trade media in line with the company communications framework to extend the company’s visibility
  • Ensures global targets and metrics for marketing communications initiatives are properly implemented and develops additional local measures, as required
  • Ensures government relations activities protect and enhance ABB’s brand, reputation and business activities Support integrity culture in GRPA and model highest standards of behavior in interactions with government and policy stakeholders
  • Familiar with crisis management communication plans, policies & procedures collaborates with internal departments, senior leadership, emergency services, and external stakeholders to design and maintain

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, PR, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in communications and digital marketing positions
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills in dealing with staff and external stakeholders at a senior level and documenting plans and reports
  • Proficient writing and editing skills. Lead and nurturing experience is important Marketing in automation sector knowledge is important
  • Highly collaborative leader who can work in a matrixed organization
  • Experience working in a multinational organization
  • Good command of English and Turkish
  • Highly developed skills in project oversight, with experience in concurrently handling multiple projects
