Technology_VOIS Centre Lead- Turkey

Role purpose:

  • Represent Technology_VOIS leadership in Turkey whenever applicable 
  • Leading the activities related to establishing Technology_VOIS centre in Turkey in close coordination with multiple _VOIS functions e.g. HR, Finance, Employer branding, etc… while coordinating with Technology _VOIS global service lines organization e.g. Digital SWE, Data and analytics, BSS/CRM, Business relationship management, Operation performance centre, etc…
  • Following the phase of establishing the center, He/she will maintain double roles; delivery role where he/she will report to one of the global service lines and centre lead role where he/she will report to Technology_VOIS Head. 

Key accountabilities and decision ownership: 

  • Responsible for building strategy and partnerships for Tech_VOIS center IT centre in Turkey.
  • Oversee activities relating to establishing and growing the centre including attracting, hiring, developing and retaining IT top talents.
  • Ensure making best use of location capabilities to avail skills needed for current and future demand as per overall Tech_VOIS and Vodafone Strategy
  • Responsible for creating best local environment for global service line leads to deliver smoothly. 
  • In charge of local crisis management
  • Work closely with _VOIS teams in multiple touch points e.g. HR, finance, employer branding, etc…
  • In his delivery role, he/she will be responsible for delivery and efficiency KPIs as assigned by global service line lead. 

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • 10+ years of IT leadership experience with proven record in managing similar IT units at scale. 
  • Solid experience in SWE and software development life cycle
  • good knowledge of the strategy development & implementation.
  • Demonstrated creativity and ability to develop innovative solutions to complex business/technology problems
  • Ability to deliver challenging targets in a dynamic environment with a full understanding of customer demands/needs and flexibility to exceed customers’ expectations.
  • Solid communication skills with capability of networking on both local and global environment 

Must have technical / professional qualifications: 

  • BSC of Engineering or Computer Science or similar experience 
  • Very good command of English
