Job Description

Job Role

  • Monitor fitness level and requirements of all participants and design classes to suit individual need.
  • Offer personal training and fitness education according to customer’s health needs.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationship with participants and ensure optimal level of customer services.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and assist in answering all participant queries.
  • Prepare and promote schedule for group fitness and assist participant to attend fitness classes. 
  • Inform participants in various forms of fitness and its effect on body and mind.
  • Perform and demonstrate all fitness exercises to participants and ensure compliance to safety and health standard. 
  • Assist participants to perform all exercises effectively.
  • Evaluate exercises performed by participants, and recommend correction or proper body alignment whenever required. 
  • Monitor exercising customers and provide fitness assessment and feedback.
  • Maintain neat and clean exercise room / yoga pavilion at all times. 
  • Maintain fitness center clean, safe and organized.
  • Ensure that fitness equipment and tools are maintained in safe and good working conditions. 
  • Report to management in need of fitness equipment maintenance and repair works.
  • Provide excellent customer services according to company standards.
  • Instruct correct fitness methods and lifting techniques to minimize the chances of injury.
  • Motivate customers to continue exercises and help make healthy choices.
  • Adhere to operating procedures and regulations of fitness facility.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role, with a five-star hotel or resort experience.
  • Experience on remote locations is a plus.
  • Pleasant personality and attitude.
  • Passionate about yoga, fitness and wellness.
  • Willing to deliver excellent service and experience to guests.
  • Be up to date with current trends/techniques in the world of Fitness & Wellness.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skill in English.
