As a part of Human Resources (HR) Department, the HR Specialist will collaborate with the other HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and an extended team of HR colleagues, spanning Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Personnel Affairs, HR Operations and Learning & Development in support of the business. HR Specialist will have responsibilities across different expertise areas of HR and will own many HR processes and reports.
Key responsibilities:
  • Works closely with HRBPs and supports HRBPs in various HR projects including center of expertise projects (ie. Benefit renewal processes…etc.)
  • Owner of various HR processes (ie. Onboarding, welcoming processes, exit interview process, parental leave…etc)
  • SPOC for Payroll Specialist on payroll & benefit related topics, when needed
  • Point of contact for all MSD employees for employment related enquiries (document needs, benefit questions)
  • Updating and implementing HR procedures in line with company policies, standards, and global guidelines; own the localization of global processes (ie. Translation, check on Turkish legislations)
  • Owner of HR Portal, be the SPOC for global team and do necessary updates when needed
  • Be the SPOC for Legal paperwork (trial documents, any official document from government bodies…etc) and enable necessary actions to be completed (informing outside legal counselor, payroll, HRBP…etc)
  • Owns HR Archive, manages personnel files (employment contracts, vacation entitlement papers… etc)
  • Preparing all employee-related official documents and letters, including but not limited to employment contracts, warnings, defense letters
  • Own and update all HR reports
  • Executes Purchasing process for benefits
  • Manages external workforce process with related agencies/vendors
  • Support HR team in operational or daily routine tasks or ad hoc requests
  • Member of Environment, Health & Safety committee, owns HR touch point of health & safety

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related disciplines
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong communication & collaboration skills – has passion to work with teams
  • Hungry for knowledge – invests time to learn & grow
  • Experience in HR is an asset
