What You’ll Do

We’re a globally distributed team, and this is a 100% remote role (we prefer the UTC to UTC+5 timezones). We’re also a young team which means you’ll have a lot of growth opportunities during your first year (and beyond) at Re:Coded. In this role, you’ll also have a direct hand in driving Re:Coded’s next phase of growth and get the opportunity to work with our biggest asset: our people. This role reports direct to the Chief Executive Officer. Here’s what you can expect, and we’ll also leave space for you to define your role, too!

In your first 90 days, you’ll:

  • Get to know the team. Build and maintain relationships with all vertical heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals.
  • Lead the People & Culture team with integrity and deepen a trusting, inclusive, and productive workplace, based on Re:Coded’s values.
  • Coach and develop direct reports to empower them to thrive. Think communicating clear expectations, providing regular feedback and recognition, career guidance, etc.
  • Add two team members to the People & Operations vertical: People Operations Generalist and SalesForce Administrator

In your first year, you’ll:

  • Oversee and optimize full-cycle recruitment, from identifying and addressing talent requirements to onboarding new hires, always looking to create an extraordinary candidate experience.
  • Improve Re:Coded’s performance enablement systems, including OKRs, career paths, and 360-Best-Self Reviews in partnership with Senior Leadership.
  • Lead our Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) initiative.
  • Own and refine our rewards philosophy, including compensation, benefits, and perks.
  • Implement formal and informal feedback, pulse surveys, and benchmarking to measure team engagement and guide data-backed strategy.
  • Plan and organize the company’s internal events and social calendar (off-sites, team building events, in-office events, lunch ‘n learns, sporting events, holiday party, etc.)
  • Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for Re:Coded’s key initiatives.
  • Oversee global hiring compliance, team member relocation, and employment law.
  • Uphold and better Re:Coded’s policies, ensuring legislative regulations are followed.
  • Facilitate org-wide change management related to strategic initiatives

Indicators That This Could Be A Good Role For You

  • Demonstrated emotional intelligence and the ability to exemplify it across the organization
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to coach team members

Bonus points if…
