British American Tobacco Turkey
is looking for an experienced HR professional for the Head of HR, Turkey Operations role to be based in our operations campus in Samsun, Turkey.

In this position, you will act as an HR leader being a member of Turkey, North Africa and Caucasus Area Operations Leadership Team and Area Human Resources Leadership Teams and you will be responsible for driving the people agenda that is fully aligned with the business needs and priorities.


WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Lead core people processes as per the guidelines and cycle plans (i.e. talent management, talent attraction, reward, culture and organizational effectiveness, change management, data and analytics)
  • Provide guidance to all Operations departments on people topics and deliver the agreed actions
  • Closely work with Regional and Area level stakeholders to contribute the people agenda
  • Manage Collective Labor Agreement process and day-to-day Industrial Relations activities
  • Lead the Organization Pillar of the applied Lean Manufacturing System (IWS)
  • Lead Turkey Operations HR team and ensure a healthy talent pool is in place with proven high performance and strong development plans


ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • University Degree
  • Min 10 years’ experience including partnership experience for big & complex functions/business units
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Team management experience
  • Strong project management, prioritization and change management skills
  • Ability to think and act both strategically and operationally
  • Solid and mature to be in the position to interact and influence range of stakeholders
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and is committed to self-development
  • Experience in a unionized organization is a plus, though not a must
