TYPE OF CONTRACT: Fixed Term Contract (with possibility to be extended)

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

British American Tobacco is currently looking for a Finance Analyst to join our Financial Accounting team from Istanbul, Turkey!

Reports to: Finance Assistant Manager

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Working closely with Financial Shared Services from Romania for all accounting matters
• Performing and controlling daily accounting transactions of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable accounts
• Month end & year end closing activities (AP-AR)
• Preparing and reviewing weekly invoice reports of the team
• Providing support for internal & external audits
• Creating and providing ad-hoc reporting as needed from local management

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, accounting or similar
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in a multinational company
• SAP FI module knowledge preferred
• Very good command of English and Turkish languages, both written and spoken
• Knowledge of MS Office programs with high competency in Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to interpret financial data
• Strong sense of responsibility and urgency
