Position Summary

The Country Manager – Turkey will be responsible for Zinpro sales and marketing in Turkey as an independent contractor who performs services on Zinpro’s behalf. This position does not include any commercial transactions or any pricing. Agribusiness background is required; Animal Nutrition and/or Animal Health, is strongly preferred.


Essential Functions

  • Participate in business planning, lead the strategic direction for our Turkey business
  • Achieve sales goals and objectives within the established budget
  • Set and evaluate Distributor goals and performance
  • Train Distributor staff as needed, update on technical information
  • Provide service, technical updates, and other collaborations with major customers
  • Provide market intelligence information to management.
  • Communicate effectively, reporting the status of the business.
  • Identify new product and market opportunities for our business
  • Identify threats, challenges, constraints to our business
  • Develop and present formal presentations to customers and influencers.
  • Promote product use and benefits to the customers and influencers.
  • Conduct and demonstrate field trials as needed
  • Suggest research opportunities to grow our business
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Business, preferably Veterinary or Animal Science.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of agriculture industry sales and account management experience.
  • The ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of business.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.


Work Environment and Physical Requirements

The work environment consists of multiple different environments: standard office, long periods in a motor vehicle, animal and/or manufacturing facilities, and at client/customers facilities.


Schedule Requirements

This position is expected to work within core business hours and requires participation in after-hours and weekend calls, customer/client events & meetings, and industry events.


Travel Requirements

Travel throughout the Turkey, Middle East, North Africa, and to overseas locations from time to time; business travel is approximately 50% of work time.
