Category Development leader CIS & Turkey

Job Description

Category Development leader CIS& Turkey is responsible for deployment and implementation of category management principles and commercial strategy, drive RGM initiative as a global discipline for growing KC business efficiency.

Key individual accountabilities

  • Lead the RGM team;
  • Category management:
    • Develop and deploy category vision and strategy based on deep understanding of key growth’s drivers in categories, channels and clients, shopper’s understanding and insights, identifying additional source of growth;
    • Lead Joint category development process with major clients, develop relationship with retailers, helping them in providing category growth
    • Lead creation and delivery of categories plans for channels and specified customers based on DPSM (distribution, pricing, shelving, merchandising) approach
  • Commercial strategy:
    • Develop and deploy Commercial Strategy based on RGM study, category expansion and channel’s portfolio optimization, etc.
    • Develop and deploy assumptions for trade investment and promo strategy based on categories guidelines and financial targets
    • Organize revenue transformation process to maintain profitability, optimize gross-to-net and find internal source of growth
  • Partner with cross-function to deliver the commercial strategy
  • Develop category management and commercial capabilities across commercial department
  • Develop and deliver effective external category selling stories, tailored by country, to support new category growth initiatives
  • Lead the process of Assortment prioritization and advise KA Managers on Core Range and Minimum Must Lists

Requirements

  • 3 years of work experience in international FMCG Company (commercial department, category management or strategy)
  • Strong Influencing and leadership skills
  • Result oriented
  • Strong analytical skills, knowledge of Nielsen Data base
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Solid understanding of Baby & FemCare categories, consumer`s behaviors
  • Proven proficiency in basic category development tools: assortment analysis, shelf space management, navigation solutions.
  • English Upper-Intermediate
