Business Controller

We are looking for a Business Controller who will directly report to finance director and work close with the local management team and regional controlling team.

Main Responsibilities;

  • Ensure all financial reporting is in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (IFRS) and in compliance with all regulatory financial reporting requirements and Azelis Accounting Policies.

  • Oversee the annual audit cycle, liaise and represent the company with external auditors and 3rd party service providers, where applicable

  • Responsible for ensuring the presence and functioning of internal controls over the company and financial reporting.

  • Coordinating the company’s budgeting/forecasting processes by collecting, integrating and consolidating the data generated by company functions. Preparing the budgeted/forecasted financial statements of the company.

  • Providing timely analysis and explaining the variances compared to plan. Verifying the operating performance of the company by preparing margin, cost and OWC analysis.

  • Assisting to identify risk & opportunities within the performance of the company

  • Support the expected merger of two Azelis companies located in Turkey.

  • Lead local projects, inclusion implementations / upgrades of IT systems and improvements of processes and procedures

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration or equivalent financial qualification,

  • 5+ years of experience in financial controlling (having experience in big4 audit firms is preferred)

  • Strong technical expertise and knowledge in accounting standards, IFRS.

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Programs

  • Knowledge on Dynamics-AX is an asset

  • Excellent communication skills, ability to liaise with people at all levels

  • Team Player, self-disciplined, analytic and result oriented

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Ability to plan and prioritize

  • Proficiency in written and verbal English
