Duties and Responsibilities
Ensures that all hotel linens and uniforms are in perfect condition.
Gives the Tailors the items that need more attention and need to be repaired and provides them for repairs.
Provides one-to-one change of uniforms.
Make sure all uniforms are free of any material before they are sent to the laundry facility, ex. pens, name tags.
Report and deliver all Lost and Found items to Security.
Examining and shelving uniforms returned from the laundry.
Checks the uniforms of the employees and informs the Housekeeping Office Coordinator about new requests when necessary.
Informs Housekeeping Office Coordinator of any damage/misuse, loss of uniforms or textiles.
Helps with a regular inventory of all uniforms and linens.
Labels all uniforms specifically for the department and the person and follows the inventory.
