Set to open in early 2021, Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus, Istanbul, will be Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s second hotel in Turkey. The hotel will enjoy a prime location on the sunny shores of the Bosphorus, situated on the European side of Istanbul in the high-end residential Kuruçeşme neighborhood.
The urban resort, with its lush generous enchanted gardens, will feature two outdoor pools and private wooden pavilions on the shores of the Bosphorus. Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus, Istanbul will be comprised of 100 spacious guestrooms and suites, innovative restaurants & bars and expensive and elegant banqueting facilities. Spread over 2,700 square meters, The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus, Istanbul will become one of Istanbul’s best wellness and beauty destination.

Duties and Responsibilities

To provide courteous, efficient call handling and service delivery in a prompt and clear manner to exceed guest expectations.
To handle all emergency calls and ensure clear and accurate inter – departmental communication in order to provide a safe environment for our guests and colleagues.
To ensure that standards of personal appearance – smart office clothes and hygiene are an example for the team and demonstrate a professional image for our guests.
To be fully aware of the resort information in terms of services offered, opening times, location of venues etc. in order to provide guests with accurate information.
To receive and perform handovers from shift to shift, ensuring consistent and full information is given.

Requirements

Minimum two years hotel telephone operator experience within a luxury environment
Experience in room revenue control, budget planning and cost control
Strong knowledge of computers and systems such as PMS, Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Office Successful problem solving skills
Able to communicate in written and spoken English and Turkish
Excellent overall communication skills
Able to multi-task
The ability to work well in a team environment
Able to stand for extended periods of time
Professional appearance and demeanor Multi-lingual
