Duties & Responsibilities

  • To be fully aware of the hotel information in terms of services offered, opening times, location of venues etc. in order to provide guests with accurate information.
  • To ensure that the team receives and performs Pre-shift line up (handovers) from shift to shift, and the information flow is consistent and full information is given/taken.
  • To contact the guest after reservation is made to determine their preferences and to anticipate their needs (obtain preferences for pillow, newspapers, dietary requirement, organizing tours, errands, etc.).
  • ETA’s and ETD’s to be collected on a daily basis for the next day arrivals in order to provide luxury arrival and departure experiences and ensure arrival and departure experience is as per MOHG standards.
  • Address special guest preferences recorded in guest history profiles.
  • To reading guests body language and listening their voice to be aware of their needs, to anticipate what they need before they ask.
  • To watch and find patterns by closely monitoring guests’ habits.
  • To work and liaise closely with the Reception, Concierge, Housekeeping, Valet and In Room Dining departments in ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • To conduct “room check” for all arrival as well as to ensure amenities and guest preferences are in place prior to guest arrival, including welcome letters and handwritten tent cards.
  • To actively create ideas and seek opportunities to consistently strive for the best MOwow moments for memorable moments.
  • Schedule routine inspections to all butler areas including occupied and non-occupied rooms.
  • Inspect guest rooms and pantries on a regular basis to ensure guest preferences are met.
  • To promote and ensure that MOHG standards of Legendary Quality Experience and Guiding Principles are enforced.
  • To contact guests prior to arrival to deliver the personal requirement to the room.
  • To orientate room features and to serve welcome drinks.
  • To handle all business services requests
  • To unpack/pack guests’ items.
  • To arrange laundering requests.
  • To assist in taking and serving Food and Beverage in-room dining requests
  • To replenish Food and Beverage amenities.
  • To provide shoe polishing service.
  • To handle booking of tickets/theatres/events and limousine services.
  • To assist with suite/room moves.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity in a luxury hotel environment with 3 years at supervisory level.
  • Must be a self-starter, coach & mentor who can inspire the team to perform their best
  • High level of integrity, enthusiasm, dedication and support for continuous improvement
  • Flexible management style to meet challenge of a changing work environment
  • Advanced level of Turkish and English
  • Preferably a third language 
  • Post-Secondary education
  • Good Housekeeping and Guest Relations knowledge
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good level of engagement with Residents
