About the Role:
RWS is currently looking for new talents with native speaker fluency or full professional proficiency in the following languages:

English

French

Dutch

Spanish

Portuguese

The Customer Service and Business Data Technician is mainly responsible for providing support by email to general users and businesses as well as researching, analyzing and validating information using web-based maps and news articles/social media/official websites.

Responsibilities:
Provide support to general users of maps app

Trouble-shoot and if required, escalate issues

Deal with business queries, in accordance with company policies

Evaluate data quality through web-based research and phone calls

Apply critical thinking to identify high-level trends

Identify root cause(s) of trending issues through web-research

Create analytical reports

Requirements:
Candidates must be eligible to work in USA

Candidates must have native speaker or full professional fluency in one of the target languages, and excellent English language skills, both written and verbal

Skills and Experience:
Detail-oriented, analytical and passionate about solving problems

Passionate about IT and familiar with iOS and macOS

Able to work with large data-sets, identify patterns and trends and draw conclusions to recommend actions

Comfortable with placing outbound calls

Comfortable working independently, as well as in small and large cross-functional team

Nice to have:
Experience with spreadsheets

Experience with database systems

Customer support experience in a technical environment

Familiarity with basic GIS concepts

Familiarity with web-based map applications

Experience in data analysis

Experience with social media sites

University Degree in Business Analysis or equivalent combination of education and experience

Onsite and full-time position in Austin, Texas
