Our client is a global FMCG company, for their future development plan, we are looking for a: LOGISTICS EXPERT
İş Tanımı
- The role is responsible for planning and execution of logistics operations (inbound, customs, storage, handling, distribution, destruction) in close collaboration with supply and demand/sales planning, customer service and finance functions
- In a case of service or logistics operational defects/issues the role is responsible for initiation of investigation and proposes improvement actions. Owns improvement action if it is in the area of responsibility and follow-ups improvement action if it is out of area of responsibility
- Based on logistics operational plan, the role is responsible for bottom-up preparation of logistics budget including periodical reviews and analytics
- The role constantly searchers for the new efficiency and value creation initiatives in logistics and makes business proposals
- The role initiates and facilitates periodical/quarterly operational reviews with key 3PLs and suppliers. The scope includes KPIs targets setting, tracking and improvement, short/mid/long term operational rough-cut capacity planning, future logistics operational risks and opportunities management
- 3PLs Contracts management.
- The role is responsible for preparation and facilitation of SOP+, Step3 review for Turkey operations, represents Turkey SCMR at other SOP+ forums. Owns Step3 continuous improvement actions related to Turkey operations

- SAP/Atlas key user for logistics operations. The role is responsible for system entries, investigation and reporting of system issues (iDocs)
- The role is responsible for regular inventory counting activities management and weekly/periodical inventory reconciliation between 3PL WMS and SAP/Atlas
- Key performance indicators: Logistics budget (LCC), Value creation in logistics (VC), Warehouse inventory accuracy (IRA), Customer service level (CSL)
Aradığımız Profil
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in operations management/business administration/economics
- Procurement/Supply chain/Inventory management qualifications would be an advantage
- SAP functional/key user experience would be an advantage
- Advanced level of speaking and writing English and Turkish languages
- +4 years of relevant experience in supply chain management or logistics with high level of collaboration with
- suppliers, 3PLs, customs and other governmental authorities
- Financial acumen and P&L management
- Confident user of MS office, Advanced Excel, WMS experience is an advantage
