We are currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator for our Health and Medical Solutions business unit in Turkey. The role is responsible for managing the performance and services of our 3PL, who is providing storage and distribution services.

This position will report to the Customer Service Manager and will be based in Kartal, Istanbul office.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate operations with 3PL partners (warehousing and transportation) by taking into considerations SLA’s within the contract and customer satisfactions

• Supervise all processes in the Inbounds, stock and shipping activities and any other VAS

• Coordinate 3PL with ÜTS service partner to have uninterrupted notification flow. Support and coordinate with service partner customers’ ÜTS issues.

• Ensure that all routine operational issues are resolved to the satisfaction of all key stakeholders

• Supervise, stock reconciliation, inventory count, SLOB destruction

• Ensure company policies and procedures are applied and appropriately deployed in the 3PLs organizations

• Ensure 3PL operations are planning for growth and business change (i.e. appropriate equipment, staffing, training, storage, etc.)

• Check and evaluate continuously, by tendering/collecting offer, the transport market for potential saving opportunities

• Supports logistics and digitalization projects and be part of the continuous improvements

• Verifying and approving 3PL both warehousing and transportation invoices according to the contract.

• Support and assist Controlling team with Warehousing and Transportation cost Forecasting/Budgeting

• Perform ad hoc Distribution costs analysis reports when necessary

• Continuously analyze deviations of Distribution costs vs KPI, support to drive and follow up actions to improve DC financial results

• Secure Company reporting rules being maintained and followed:

• Material Master maintained in the system

• Cost of goods sold calculations per each SKU and correct maintenance it in the system

• Provide regular revision of actual Cost of Goods sold vs planned with deviation analyses and address it to Controlling department with explanation of reasons, possible business risks and necessary actions needed

• Responsible for correctness of 3PL costs booking to the right financial cost centers, including 3PL invoices approval and costs follow up

• Responsible for Monthly/Quarterly/Annually financial closing of 3PL results will close cooperation with Controlling/Accounting Departments; acting as business partner to fully perform financial closing activities for 3PL organization by following controlling/accounting standards

• Ownership of 3PL financial results within total Company P&L with ability to interpret the results for internal and external users

Who You Are

• University degree or equivalent or relevant experience

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in 3PL warehousing, logistics and/or supply chain or logistics financial analyst

• Financial understanding, business mindset and acumen

• Experience with reporting systems: SAP R3/SAP Business 1/Business Warehouses preferred

• Fluent Turkish and English is required (effective verbal and written English communication skills is key)

• Strong analytical and planning skills

• Proven track record delivering improvements (e.g. cost savings, service etc.)

• Medical/Pharmaceutical environment experience/knowledge a plus

• Experience and proficiency in standard logistics software

• Advanced knowledge of Excel

• Exceptional analytical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills

• Able to prioritize work, and meet deadlines

• Having a proper sense of urgency (know when/how to step in)

• Being able to influence people multi-site, with different cultures and backgrounds

• Accurate monitoring on costs, budgets, output, inventories

• Strong team working skills with the ability to provide constructive challenge
