Supply of food items via electronic vouchers (E-Voucher)

Due to the recent developments in the camps and merge of some of those, we would like to share this updated tender

Mercy Hands for Humanitarian Aid announces the tender for the supply of food items via electronic vouchers (E-Vouchers) for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Al-Qayyarah camps (Al-Jada’a Camps, and Air Strip Camp) and Hmmam Al-Alil Camp in Nineveh governorate funded by the World Food Program (WFP).

Mechanism

The mechanism of supply is through opening retailers of food commodities (as shown in the table below) inside the camps mentioned above to allow the residents of the camps to shop from the retailers via e-vouchers provided by WFP which is topped up monthly with 17,000 IQD per person. The buyer pays the value of the food items via the e-vouchers.

Note : The value of the voucher may vary month to month, however the retailer will be informed of the valued before the voucher distribution.

Payment mechanism is at the end of each month, where the supplier collects the receipts of selling the food items and present them to Mercy Hands to be charged and paid by bank transfer to the supplier’s bank account.

The period of the contract is six months starting from November 2019 through April 2020
