ROLE PURPOSE

We are looking for a Network Quality Expert with the will and ambition to work in high performing environment. Vodafone is one of the biggest global Techco companies and you will also be able to have a chance to show your potential worldwide by working with our global stakeholders.

The role is responsible of making sure that Vodafone Mobile Network is performing at its best, with an End to End perspective, based on predefined SLAs, KPI targets and Regulatory thresholds. The role is responsible of detecting detoriations/degradations in Network (with use AI/ML techniques where possible), starting and tracking necessary actions with related parties and making sure that the issue is solved, on top of analytics and visualization activities to Technical teams, Group and Management.


Job Responsibility

Your place in the team

  • KPI implemantation and reporting of Network (RAN, CS, PS and Transmission) KPIs between Vodafone Turkey, Vodafone global and BTK
  • Making sure that these KPIs are reported on time, on purpose and with qualified data.
  • Making sure that KPIs always meet the targets and keep on improving. Delivering actionable insights to improve network KPI values, detecting detoriations/degradations in Network to “smell the problem”
  • Use of AI/ML techniques (for anomaly detection) where possible to detect degradations earlier, or to predict them.
  • Being one of the main contacts for the Vodafone Group Quality teams to comment on tracked KPIs
  • Driving quality improvement initiatives and managing E2E problem solving meetings with steakholders, with extensive use of different soruces of data, tools and information.
  • Testing tool config (like SIGOS), KPI and alarm tracking.
  • Delivering impact analyses on network parametric and hardware changes, incidents, etc. using different data tools and KPIs that effects network customer perception and network KPI targets.
  • Reporting to Regulatory Authorities based on predefined SLAs and methodologies, detecting any ciritical anomalies to impact these SLAs and to warn related parties, and also to participate in Regulatory Meetings if required by Regulatory Authorities.


Long Description

We are looking for you if you have

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and multiple simultaneous projects
  • BS degree or higher in Telecommunications, Computer Science or relevant field
  • Good knowledge of GSM,UMTS and LTE Radio network functionality, Core Network knowhow is a plus
  • Experience of network optimisation techniques and processes
  • Excellent SQL skills on Hive, Impala and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience of using network statistics, networks traces and drive trialling logs to analyse and improve network performance
  • Good working knowledge in network performance management and understanding of network measurement gathering and analysis.
  • Excellent understanding of the data analysis through querying of relational databases.
  • Excellent statistics and mathematical background is necessary to interpret algorithms output results.
  • Good presentation and storytelling skills to summarize findings in a right manner to Management Teams
  • Good understanding of regulatory framework for mobile operations particularly in the Turkey environment.
  • Transmission network availability and quality figures knowledge
  • Data visualization experience with Tableau and SAP BO is desirable
  • Strong software programming skills with Python is a plus
  • Experience in using AI and ML techniques for Prediction and Anomaly Detection is a plus.
  • Experience in Pandas, Scikit-learn,Tensorflow,PyTorch, numpy, matplotlib, airflow libriaries in ptyhon coding is a plus.
