HR Operations Specialist

Job Description Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for executing on multiple HR processes and supporting the HR team across all HR service categories including onboarding, offboarding, Oracle data maintenance, reporting, metrics and more. Develop an in-depth, wing-to-wing knowledge of company HR operations systems & processes. This role requires emphasis on data integrity and analysis to support key HR decisions while providing coverage and support as needed. Identify and resolve operational issues and support process improvements. Promote “Best in Class” service while developing effective relationships and working cross functionally with internal teams and suppliers.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead / Support HR Operations services such as On-boarding, Off-boarding, employee life cycle and ensure people, structures, processes and systems are aligned to deliver key objectives efficiently and effectively.
  • Work closely with payroll to ensure all payroll inputs are submitted accurately and timely
  • Understand customer needs and ensure customer requirements are met within the agreed KPIs/ timelines.
  • Create a continuous improvement culture, proactively identifying processes for improvement and driving change as well as responding to business requirements.
  • Maintain the highest standard of accuracy and quality, taking accountability for compliance with relevant legal and GE policy requirements.
  • Liaise, in conjunction with HRM & Line Managers and leaders to keep abreast of business requirements / updates on local regulations overview, to ensure that the HR team and business are well-informed.
  • Support the relationship between GE and 3rd party suppliers e.g. service providers, Medical & Insurance vendor etc. where required.

Required Qualifications

  • A university degree from an accredited university
  • Fluency in English and Turkish
  • At least 2-3 years of HR Operations/ Payroll experience
  • Knowledge and experience around Labor Law and Social Security Regulations
  • Good analytical and excel skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong sense of customer orientation.
  • Experience of manufacturing environment

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience with Workday as the HR System
  • Strong operations skills with a track record of improving performance in transactional teams.
  • Experienced in diving adherence to KPIs’.
  • Good networking skills with experience in operating in complicated matrix environment and able to build good working relationships both internally and externally.
