Location: Istanbul / Turkey

As HR Intern you will support the HRBPs in the following activities:

  • Schedule complex, high-volume interviews: phone screens and video conferencing
  • Provide updates to candidates regarding their applicant/interview status as needed
  • Multi-task and effectively prioritize and work in a dynamic, demanding environment
  • Collaborate with other team members to improve and streamline processes
  • Maintaine internal records, which may include preparing, issuing and filing company documentation (e.g. sick leave, maternity leave, etc.).
  • Calculate MENA annual leave entitlements ; provide payroll with relevant employee information such as holidays leaves, sick days, maternity leave
  • Format job descriptions for job requisitions
  • Take minutes in staff meetings
  • Prepare Org chart for GEM
  • Prepare Birthday list and Work anniversary list for GEM.
  • Manpower SEE Region (invoices, POs, contract compilation)
  • Update GEM HR Sharepoint (templates etc.)
  • Liaise with external partner to support work permit process for employees & dependents ; update database for follow up of visa renewals
  • Liaise with external partner for medical & life insurance enrollment, medial claims, complaints & validating invoices, quarterly audit reviews, terminations of medical & life insurance
  • Preparing employment verification letters
  • Organize and maintain personnel records
  • Participate in HR projects
  • Organize internal arrangements such as travel, training sessions, and team-building events.
  • Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms

General Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, HR management, psychology or any other related field
  • A strong Interest in human resources,
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, and communicate effectively with people throughout the organization
  • Strong interpersonal and listening skills
  • Motivation to constantly learn and develop the own knowledge and skills
  • A Very good level on Powerpoint and Excel, and who is digital savvy
  • Fluent in English
  • Ideally completed one or several previous internship(s) in HR
