Technical Assistance for Strengthening Fundamental Rights Sector Coordination
The intended start date for this project is December 2021 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 24 months starting from this date.
The overall objective of the Fundamental Rights programme of which this TA contract will be a part is as follows: “To achieve measurable progress towards the full enjoyment of all fundamental rights and freedoms by all individuals without discrimination in all areas by supporting the promotion and protection of fundamental rights reforms”.
QUALIFICATION
In the framework of this project we are currently looking for a Team Leader with next profile:
Qualifications and skills:
- At least Master’s degree in law, fondamental rights, international relations, public administration, political sciences or equivalent. In the absence of required degree, the expert will have equivalent professional experience of at least 11 years in the fundamental rights sector.
- At least B2 level of English as per the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
General Professional Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the fondamental rights sector.
- At least 3 project experiences in a managerial position such as Team Leader, Project Manager or equivalent.
Specific Professional Experience:
- Minimum 5 experiences in policy or strategy development related to fondamental rights,
- Experience with an international human rights body,
- Working experience with the Council of Europe will be an asset.
The Team Leader will have the overall responsibility for the coordination of the project activities, project management and implementation. The expert will ensure coordination among other experts and the backstopping team. S/he will also be responsible for ensuring that the outputs and indicators are in accordance with the ToR and the work schedule. In her/his capacity as team leader, s/he will also be responsible for at least:
- producing the work plans and ressource schedules, and managing NKE mobilisation,
- preparing the project reports, such as inception, progress and final reports,
- acting as the main counterpart to the beneficiary related to the performance of project activities,
- assuring the quality of the outputs (including their efficient delivery, effectiveness and sustainability) and achievements of the indicators, especially for activities within the scope of the this ToR.
