Deputy Program Manager, TUHP

The combined Prototype and Industrialization Deputy Program Manager’s responsibilities will include support of the Turkish Utility Helicopter Program (TUHP) Prototype and Industrialization teams for the following efforts:

  • Lead communication and modeling of TUHP Buyback reporting, including receipts, purchase orders, current forecasts, and risk analysis
  • Lead a cross-functional effort to model future Buyback liquidation, including a detailed plan of Program Period 3 and a high-level strategy for Program Periods 4-6
  • Lead effort to automate buyback reporting for Sikorsky and PZL. Coordinate across LM Business Areas to aggregate and document procurement from Turkish Suppliers.
  • Support business case development for cross-business area evaluation of sourcing to Turkish Suppliers
  • Support analysis and communications for international project negotiations, including subcontracts with Turkish Suppliers, contract negotiations with the TUHP customer, and industrialization synergies with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) pursuit.
  • Lead program disposition of Prototype Program ICMs and monitor all Prototype program/technical communications between Sikorsky, Aselsan and Turkish Aerospace for timely correspondence
  • Lead and monitor Prototype A/C and System Integration Laboratory parts logistics in the US in accordance with the international trade compliance rules and regulations
  • Lead Prototype Program earned value and change request activities
  • Lead Prototype Program risk and opportunity management activities
  • Coordinate between different functions to ensure material and manpower requirements are met for Prototype Program A/C onsite activities in Ankara, Turkey
  • Support and coordinate internal and external program reviews including visitors’ access to the facilities in the US
  • Lead reviews and responses for the periodic status reports from the suppliers
  • Support drafting and releasing internal program instructions
  • Manage contract data requirements list with data management group
  • Provide program oversight for the activities in US, Turkey or Poland as required by the Prototype Sr. Program Manager

Basic Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to formulate and communicate financial favorability of proposed projects
  • Expertise with large dataset analysis
  • Ability to support domestic and international travel up to 25%
  • The Deputy Program Manager will report to the Industrialization Program Manager and will support the Prototype Senior Program Manager
  • Prototype activities will require approximately 50% time, or 20 hours per week
  • Industrialization activities will require approximately 50% time, or 20 hours per week
  • Priority will be given to customer communications and to Deliverable deadlines
  • Deputy Program Manager will follow a Flex 4×10 A schedule (Monday-Thursday)
