Job description

Koz Bingol Restaurant, located at 6255 Bathurst Street, Toronto, ON, M2R 2A5, is currently looking to hire one (1) experienced full-time Turkish Charcoal Grill Cook. The Cook will be primarily responsible for preparing and charcoal grilling in line with Turkish cuisine and culture, as well as halal food standards.

• Slice, cut, shred, tenderize, and skewer meat and vegetables;
• Braise and grill meat and vegetables;
• Ensure ingredients remain fresh and safe for consumption;
• Prevent cross-contamination;
• Prepare meals in accordance with customers’ preferences;
• Track the components of each meal to ensure that the final dish is completed in a timely manner;
• Liaise with waitstaff once orders are finalized;
• Ensure that the workstation remains clean and orderly at all times;
• Inform the Manager when equipment is due for maintenance, repair, or replacement;
• Track inventory to ensure that you always have adequate supplies.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of three to five years of experience in charcoal grilling authentic Turkish cuisine
• Have deep knowledge of Turkish cuisine and culture
• Commitment to the production of high-quality outputs and excellent customer service.
