SENIORITY LEVEL: Mid – Senior Level

FUNCTION: Human Resources

LOCATION: Istanbul – Turkey

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

We are delighted to announce that BAT is introducing Global Returner Programme to present opportunities for career returners who have been on a career break for 18+ months and are seeking a supportive environment to re-commence their career!

We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our HQ team on a temporary basis (6 months) who will serve as a trusted advisor to our senior leaders in regard to talent management, reward management, employee relations, and organizational design, career development and leadership development.

Reports to: Turkey Head of HR – Commercial

Reporting Level: Individual contributor

Geographic Scope: Turkey

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Contributes to collaboration with business & HR leaders in shaping both business & people strategy
  • Partner with business & HR teams in shaping both business & people strategy and drive its execution to enable the business to operate effectively and ensure the timely identification of issues & opportunities and the presentation of solutions
  • Support and lead HR specific projects/initiatives to ensure market relevant employment practices and policies are in place in order to create engaging and productive working place environment

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • 3 to 5 years of continuous HR experience before a minimum of 18+ months break
  • Analytical thinker who is strong in terms of understanding the business and its requirements
  • Quick lifelong learner aiming to do better and looking for new ways to improve the existing processes
  • Good communicator and an experienced multitasker
