Description

The Project Manager is a key customer-facing role responsible for the successful delivery of customer projects from planning through implementation and handover to Service.

You will act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. The role requires strong project leadership, stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration, working closely with customers, distributors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage customer implementation projects from planning through successful completion and handover to Service.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, building strong relationships and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, forecasts and resource requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and drive timely resolution and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate internal teams, distributors and external partners to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide structure, guidance and support to distributors throughout the implementation process.
  • Coordinate project resources, shipments and installations in line with project milestones and financial targets.
  • Work closely with Sales, Order Administration, Order Fulfilment, Installation, Applications and other relevant teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Coordinate with customers, architects, engineers and construction partners to ensure site requirements and equipment specifications are correctly understood and delivered.
  • Conduct site readiness assessments and onsite inspections where required.
  • Review and coordinate site-specific drawings and ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, records and project data within relevant systems, including ERP and CLM.
  • Monitor project financial performance, including revenue forecasts, budget adherence and variance analysis, and take appropriate action where required.
  • Support revenue recognition activities related to construction works where applicable.
  • Communicate project status, risks, milestones and key issues clearly to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project management processes, documentation, efficiency and customer experience.
  • Support tenders, proposals, sales activities and customer queries as required.
  • Develop and maintain project-related documentation, including checklists, technical references and implementation materials.
  • Share project management knowledge, best practices and lessons learned with other Project Managers.
  • Ensure all project activities are conducted in accordance with applicable company policies, local laws and regulations.
  • Ensure company assets and equipment used during projects are appropriately maintained and serviced.

Authorities

  • Own day-to-day project decisions, priorities and resource coordination within the agreed project scope, timeline and budget.
  • Direct and coordinate internal teams, distributors and external partners to ensure successful project delivery and timely resolution of issues.
  • Escalate significant project risks, financial deviations, scope changes and customer issues, and recommend appropriate corrective actions to relevant stakeholders.

Relevant Knowledge, skills and competencies

  • Proven experience in Project Management, ideally within a high-tech, construction, software, capital equipment or medical equipment environment.
  • Experience managing complex customer implementations and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to influence and drive outcomes without direct authority.
  • Confident and assertive approach to managing customer expectations and project requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD for reviewing and interpreting drawings.
  • Basic understanding of radiation protection regulations is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, initiative and the ability to leverage available resources effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools, including Excel and MS Project.
  • Experience with Elekta products is an advantage.
  • Arabic language skills are an advantage.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 60%, including domestic and international travel to customer sites and company locations.
