National Road Logistics Tender & Pricing Specialist

As a member of the Freight Forwarding team Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimising processes, and fulfilling our customers’ promises.

We are seeking a National Road Logistics Tender & Pricing Specialist to join our National Office in Basaksehir.

In this role, you will support and coordinate end-to-end tender management activities from a procurement and pricing perspective. You will be responsible for carrier sourcing, quotation evaluation, commercial negotiations, and tender analysis, ensuring competitive and sustainable logistics solutions. By assessing transport requirements, operational feasibility, and profitability, you will contribute to the development of effective pricing strategies and successful tender submissions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will provide analytical insights and commercial recommendations that support business growth, operational excellence, and long-term profitability.

How you create impact

• Monthly controlling and monitoring of actuals versus targets, initiating corrective actions in case of deviations, and preparing weekly and monthly procurement performance reports (e.g. hit ratio of quotations).
• Support the acquisition of new FTL/LTL business and contribute to account management activities through strong procurement capabilities and market knowledge.
• Promote carrier relations and continuously develop the existing carrier base through effective supplier management and sourcing activities.
• Support the FTL/LTL business development process through tender analysis, solution design, costing, pricing, and service offering development.
• Manage and support end-to-end tender processes from a procurement perspective, including RFQ preparation, carrier sourcing, quotation evaluation, commercial negotiations, and tender submissions.
• Perform tender, pricing, and profitability analyses by evaluating transport requirements, operational feasibility, and customer needs to develop competitive and sustainable logistics solutions.
• Analyze carrier quotations, procurement KPIs, and business data to support decision-making, while preparing analytical reports, cost breakdowns, and procurement recommendations for internal stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and provide relevant market intelligence to internal stakeholders.

What we would like you to bring

• Minimum bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in road logistics and 3 years of pricing / procurement experience for inbound/outbound FTL shipments.
• Proficient in MS Office Applications and PC skills.
• Excellent analytical, communicational skills, attention to detail.
• Results orientated and fast acting / decision maker.
• Fluency in both Turkish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills, is required.
