Who will you be working with?
You will be part of the Commercial and Sales Operations team, working closely with Sales, Finance, Wabtec plants, and cross-functional internal teams. In this role, you will act as a central coordination point, ensuring smooth communication and alignment between internal stakeholders and customers.
How will you make a difference?
As a Back-Office Sales Specialist, you will support the commercial organization by managing pricing processes, maintaining data accuracy, and coordinating key sales activities. You will contribute to operational efficiency, support decision-making through data insights, and ensure that sales processes are executed effectively and in compliance with company standards.
What will your typical day look like?
- Support the achievement of commercial and administrative objectives and initiate corrective actions when needed.
- Prepare, manage, and maintain pricing documentation, including standard aftermarket offers across customers and product groups.
- Develop, analyze, and distribute sales reports covering pricing, volumes, customer data, and market trends.
- Support the development and execution of sales strategies aligned with business goals.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, legal requirements, and internal procedures.
- Coordinate commercial activities and information flow between plants, internal teams, and customers.
- Monitor pricing parameters and track deviations from approved annual guidelines.
- Follow up on commercial disputes and ensure timely resolution with relevant stakeholders.
- Identify and escalate potential commercial risks proactively.
Process Management (TSG & OE Sales):
- Manage and update S&O TSG entries, including tracking won/lost opportunities.
- Coordinate GO/NO‑GO and Bid/No‑Bid review processes.
- Support CPQ and SISCAT request submissions.
- Lead follow-up of CPQ offer processes to ensure timelines and alignment.
- Organize and facilitate tender review meetings.
- Support win/loss analysis and post‑mortem review activities.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date data in Salesforce to support forecasting and reporting.
What do we want to know about you?
- University degree (Business, Finance, Engineering, or relevant field).
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience, preferably in Banking & Insurance, Retail/Production Controlling, or similar environments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines independently.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to negotiate within the scope of responsibilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working in multicultural environments.
- Proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP tools (e.g., Salesforce, CPQ, Oracle).
- Fluency in Turkish and English (both written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
- Understanding of corporate sales and bidding processes, as well as local commercial practices (including Turkish public sector processes).
- For male candidates: completed military service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Based in Istanbul (European side preferred)
- Experience working in a hybrid (office & home-office) environment
