Key Responsibilities
Required Skills and Experience
Technical Skills: – Strong research and analytical skills. – Prior experience in in safety and security area is required. – Ability to synthesize information from various sources into concise reports is required. – Familiarity with the geopolitical landscape, culture, and current events of the Region is required. – Familiarity with humanitarian response, emergency preparedness, crisis/emergency relief management, international relations or other related areas will be considered an advantage. – Knowledge of political dynamics and international relationship is desirable. – Previous communication and social media monitoring experience is considered an asset. Communication Skills: – Excellent written communication skills. – Ability to present information clearly and logically. Other Requirements: – Familiarity of using different social media platforms and mainstream print and electronic media news channels. – Proven motivation and interest in the fields of security and international affairs. – Access to reliable internet connectivity. – Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
