The primary responsibility of the Solution Architect/Technical Lead is to understand the client problem, design the technical solution to the problem and lead the delivery team for delivering the solution. The role requires a good technical background in software development, which is augmented with client management and leadership skills. Being creative and being able to look beyond what is asked in order to find the best fit solution for the broader context is one of the key values that this role is expected to bring. As we are serving mostly for global clients, the role may require abroad visits to the client offices for on-site workshop or on-site planning activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the client needs deeply to be able to design a technical solution, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Be the key person to propose and discuss the solution directly with the client.
  • Be one of the key member of the team delivering the solution, either as a project lead or as a technical architect. Ensure the right solution is being developed in an effective manner.
  • Proactively monitor execution of deliverables and status in an effective manner.
  • Proactively identify and resolve roadblocks or issues on technical, communication or client expectations aspect in order to help ensure successful delivery of the solution.
  • Strong quality mindset, great team spirit and being detail oriented.
  • Coach, mentor project team members also influencing them to take positive action for their assigned work.
  • In addition to delivering successful results to the client, ensure that the team members including yourself has the focus to also develop their skills while solving various unique challenges during the project execution.
  • Maintain a very good relationship with the clients and be able to develop new business opportunities

Qualifications

  • BS Degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 9+ years working experience in Software Development and Design.
  • Minimum 3+ years of software project delivery leadership experience of any sort (e.g. solution architect, technical architect, technical project lead).
  • Strong leadership skills; ability to influence others.
  • Experience in Agile Software Development Methodologies. Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience at least with one programming language and the relevant framework. Hands on coding is not expected however understanding it and guiding team members is required. (preferably one of the following language-framework combinations: C# for .Net, Java with Spring or Javascript with Nest.js)
  • Experience with one of the Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP).That also requires includes experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment Tool chain.
  • Experience in Github Copilot, Cursor or similar AI tooling.
  • Ability to successfully operate in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders including software engineers, technical architects, product owners, designers and other client contacts.
