Purpose of the Role

Responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring marketing, digital communications, public relations, event management, PR, and internal communications activities in Turkey. Ensures the implementation of local initiatives aligned with global and regional strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing

  • Ensures the accuracy of the local customer database in collaboration with central teams.
  • Supports the correct capture of digital touchpoints and mapping to buyer segments.
  • Ensures digital activities are executed in line with customer journeys.
  • Localizes digital assets such as emails, digital ads, social media posts, videos, surveys, and evaluations.
  • Analyzes and reports media investments.

Public Relations (PR)

  • Manages administrative processes related to local PR agencies and media sources.
  • Supports media relations by providing access to local experts.
  • Coordinates press releases, interviews, and media content.

Event Management

  • Plans, manages, and monitors all events.
  • Develops an event calendar and activation plan aligned with segment strategy.
  • Localizes event materials such as sales booths, graphics, printed materials, banners, and videos.
  • Ensures events comply with company policies.
  • Coordinates customer events, opening ceremonies, and conference participation.

Internal Communications

  • Develops and implements internal communication strategies in Turkey.
  • Manages executive communications such as CEO messages, Town Hall meetings, and business updates.
  • Promotes the use of internal communication platforms (e.g., Smart Connect, Viva Engage)
  • Provides communication support for employee engagement and recognition programs (e.g., Recognizing Excellence).
  • Develops and implements DEIB and Wellbeing strategies.
  • Measures and reports the impact of internal communication campaigns.
  • Manages content production in collaboration with design, print, and video agencies.
  • Prepares presentation materials, e-newsletters, announcements, and internal articles.
  • Ensures accuracy of communication channels and distribution lists reaching all employees.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related fields.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in marketing and communications.
  • 3 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing.
  • Preferably experience in logistics/transportation sector.
  • Proven experience in PR and media relations.
  • Experience in B2B marketing strategy and execution.
  • Experience working with international teams.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer and target-oriented mindset.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
