What will you be doing?

Description of Function:

  • Support SCM Activities (mostly toward supply and/or services available in-country) on the current In-country project(s) site(s).
  • Procure Project materials/services as allocated by the SCM Manager and ensure the complete & timely delivery of the material & equipment in line with the project requirements. Give alarm to all delay & propose recovery plans, ensure the application of the SCM processes, ensure that the expediting and inspection records are kept up to date.
  • Supports the local SCM Team/Management in order to alleviate their daily works/tasks especially regarding the process.
  • They ensure a good and efficient interface with other departments (Accounting/Finance for invoicing, Logistics and Administrative Affairs for good receipts/service acceptance).

The position is based in Filyos, Zonguldak with occasional travels to the headquarter in Istanbul.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Support at Site (Filyos, Zonguldak)

Pre-Award

  • Work according to Subsea 7 processes, use SCM tools, and behave in accordance with Subsea 7 Business Code of Ethic.
  • Prepare/issue request for quotation including all required information for Bidders to submit fit for purpose proposal.
  • Participate in daily SCM tasks in line with internal processes. Stay informed and interferes as necessary in all matters that have consequences on the SCM department.

Award management

  • Works according to Subsea 7 processes, use SCM tools, and behave in accordance with Subsea 7 Business Code of Ethics.
  • Prepares the Bidcomp (Supplier Commitment Approval) and obtain approval.
  • Uses tracking tools available in the project and maintains the Procurement Tracking up to date.

Post Award Management

  • Acts as “PO Owner” up to delivery to the site team. Initiates, controls and administrates post-PO data on ERP.
  • When dealing with Responsible related PO, report to this Responsible for any evolution of the PO.
  • Process Change Order Request / Change order negotiation and approval.
  • Coordinates all Supporting activities with other departments and maintains a fluid process especially with Operations, Logistics, Accounting/Finance and with Admin Assistant for general administrative affairs request.

What experience would we like you to have?

  • 5-7 years experience especially in project sites with Degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering or Business).
  • Is interested in the overall project schedule, planning, organisation.
  • Good communication & administrative skills, building effective relationship with suppliers.
  • Must be fluent in English (oral and written). Moreover, must be comfortable with interlocutor speaking English over the phone, from anywhere in the world.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills and accurate reporting, both written and verbal (especially in English).
  • Quick learner with strong ownership and commitment.
  • Strategic thinking & time management.
  • Medium/Advance knowledge on Microsoft Pack office.
  • Knowledge on ERP systems (preferably SAP).
