Position Summary

The Product Specialist is responsible for supporting commercial growth, driving marketing excellence, and strengthening customer engagement across assigned markets.

You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Channel Partners to ensure our customers receive world-class support, insights, and product value — while ensuring strong visibility of Beckman Coulter solutions in the market.

This role is ideal for a scientifically strong candidate who is passionate about diagnostics and is willing to build a career in sales and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Market Development

  • Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships, understand needs, and identify opportunities.
  • Perform competitor research and market intelligence gathering to support commercial strategy.
  • Diagnose and analyze brand positioning, market trends, customer segmentation, and competitive landscape.

Marketing Operations & Channel Collaboration

  • Manage marketing processes with dealers, including announcements, communications, requests, and complaint handling.
  • Coordinate creation, execution, and distribution of marketing, advertising, and promotional materials.
  • Support dealers with product information, marketing tools, and tactical plans.

Digital Marketing & Campaign Execution

  • Manage and update marketing platforms: email marketing tools, CRM data entry, website updates, and e-newsletters.
  • Prepare and execute online marketing campaigns, product launch events, and customer engagement events.
  • Produce and manage social media content for company platforms.

Product & Portfolio Support

  • Register new products in the product tracking systems and ensure accuracy of product data.
  • Support customers and channel partners during product campaigns and technical/marketing activities.
  • Manage, follow up, and analyze customer complaints; prepare reports for senior leadership.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biomedical Sciences, or a related scientific field.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English; additional languages are an asset.
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with MS Office, digital tools, and web-based platforms.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Highly motivated to build a commercial/marketing career in the diagnostics sector.
  • Proactive, organized, and committed to delivering a high standard of customer support.
