About the Role
As the Maintenance Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Service Supervisors and leading the maintenance operations team to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and profitability targets. You will also play a key role in implementing business change initiatives in collaboration with the Front-Line Maintenance Operations Excellence Manager, ensuring measurable improvements in customer satisfaction and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure safety is a top priority for employees and end-users—no compromises.
- Lead maintenance operations to deliver high-quality, profitable service.
- Drive annual target setting, action planning, and regular performance reviews.
- Cascade front-line and regional goals to the team and monitor progress.
- Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions.
- Driving digital transformation across field operations.
- Set and monitor sales targets and received orders aligned with market potential.
- Collaborate with repair sales to ensure value propositions are effectively used.
- Ensure execution and invoicing of work to meet short- and long-term targets.
- Lead and coach supervisors through regular 1-on-1s, field visits, and audits.
- Ensure adequate resources and drive employee engagement.
- Develop team competencies and manage performance proactively.
- Build strong customer relationships and coach teams to be customer-centric.
- Collaborate with Sales, CS&A, and Technical Helpdesk to enhance service capability.
- Prepare operational reports and provide insights to senior management.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in the Engineering departments
- Fluency in English is a must
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a management role in elevator maintenance
- Strong customer relationship and project management skills
- Understanding of elevator and escalator industry contracts is a plus
- Customer perspective and service mindset
- Strong performance management and accountability

- Strategic thinking and vision building
- Experience in customer relationship management is an asset
