The Senior Manager, Feasibility & Site Activation (FSA) will lead and develop a team of Site Contracts Negotiators in Turkey, ensuring efficient, high-quality delivery of clinical trial contract activities. This role requires a strong background in site contracts management within the clinical research industry, with proven leadership skills and the ability to drive performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Site Contracts Negotiators in Turkey to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant contract execution for clinical trials.
  • Oversee all aspects of site contract negotiation and management, ensuring alignment with local regulations, sponsor requirements, and ICON’s internal quality standards.
  • Ensure that contract timelines and targets are consistently achieved, maintaining high levels of quality, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with regional and global FSA leadership to align local delivery with overall strategic and operational goals.
  • Monitor workload distribution, team performance, and resource utilization to support balanced, efficient operations.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex contract issues or stakeholder concerns, providing expert guidance and resolution.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements and efficiency initiatives.
  • Support audit and inspection readiness, ensuring all activities and documentation are compliant with SOPs, ICH-GCP, and regulatory expectations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Start-Up, Regulatory, Legal, Project Management) to optimize site activation processes and drive seamless study start-up.
  • Lead performance reviews, goal setting, and development plans for direct reports; ensure ongoing coaching and talent development within the team.
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local clinical trial regulations and contracting practices in Turkey.
  • Represent the Turkish Contracts team in regional meetings and contribute to FSA global initiatives.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Law, Business, or a related field.
  • 6–9 years of experience in the clinical research industry, with a strong focus on site contracts negotiation and management.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, ideally managing a contracts or site activation team.
  • In-depth knowledge of clinical trial contracting processes, local Turkish regulatory environment, and familiarity with ICH-GCP.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including sponsors and investigators.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Turkish.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality results within timelines.
