About the Position

Internal Controls Analyst primary focus is to drive an agile, effective, and efficient internal controls environment by identifying key risks, executing the internal controls program, and partnering with different management levels from different markets to advocate change, improve Kraft Heinz’s financial controls, business practices and systems efficiency. This entails performing a risk assessment for applicable business units, executing the process understanding, tests of design and tests of operating effectiveness in accordance with the applicable standards and Company policies, and driving technology-enabled enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive internal control awareness and accountability through effective communication and training with process owners and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee and execute the Global Internal Controls Strategy by collaborating with internal controls teams on scoping, planning, and monitoring the control environment.
  • Coordinate and document control testing, risk assessments, and process mapping—ensuring ongoing risk evaluation as business needs evolve, and supporting timely SOX testing, Control Self-Assessment (CSA), and remediation activities per company procedures.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, delivering best practices, training, and operational support for strategic projects and audits.
  • Analyze financial data and reports, interpret results, and provide actionable recommendations on accounting and compliance matters.
  • Support new controls implementation, process improvements, and automation to boost efficiency and data quality.
  • Monitor timely SOX deficiency correction, maintain RACM master data accuracy, and assess Segregation of Duties (SOD) for financial systems.
  • Partner with business teams to drive and monitor completion of management action plans and support new system implementations.
  • Participate in and follow up on internal and external audits, including assessing audit findings and their impact on SOX control effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field required
  • 2+ years’ experience in Internal Controls, Finance, Accounting, Audit, or similar roles; SOX 404 and control testing experience required
  • Knowledge of internal audit standards, risk management, SOX compliance, COSO framework, and segregation of duties (FMCG sector experience a plus)
  • Experience with SAP, SAP GRC, AuditBoard and Oracle – desirable, but not mandatory
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret financial data and reports
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in Arabic (upper-intermediate or higher) is required
  • English proficiency at an upper-intermediate level or above is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, work independently and as a team player, and present to senior stakeholders
  • Supervisory experience or ability to lead in manager’s absence – desirable but not mandatory
  • Advanced degree or certifications (CIA, CPA, CRMA, CCSA, CFE) – preferred
  • Big Four background and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) knowledge – desirable but not mandatory
