Today, we are recruiting for a Service Engineer to join our team in Turkey. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.
What Are My Responsibilities?
- Plan and perform preventive and corrective maintenance of Signalling, ATS, and SCADA systems to ensure safe and reliable railway operations.
- Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair signalling equipment using appropriate tools and diagnostic procedures.
- Detect faults at an early stage, confirm solutions with engineering, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Prepare and deliver detailed monthly progress reports to customers and internal management.
- Coordinate with customer representatives to provide timely updates, technical guidance, and clear service feedback.
- Adhere to all quality procedures as well as environmental, health, safety, and ethical standards.
- Promote Siemens solutions to customers and help identify opportunities for system enhancements or future sales.
What Are My Qualifications?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Communication Engineering.
- Minimum of one year of experience in railway signalling systems maintenance or installations.
- Proven ability to maintain and repair point machines, track circuits, railway signals, axle counters, ERTMS, point heaters, and central traffic control systems.
- Competence in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Fluency in written and spoken English to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Strong IT proficiency, including Windows, Office, Linux, SQL, networking, VMware, and WinCC.
- Working knowledge of Linux and network systems for troubleshooting and system support.
- Flexibility to travel as required for maintenance and project support.
