Product Design & UAT Engineer

P.I. Works is looking for Product Design & UAT Engineer to provide new valuable automation solutions and ensure carrier-grade implementation of proposed solutions by considering functionality

What you will do:

• Develop technical specs and design solutions based on mobile operators’ requirements and policies world-wide
• Test and validate solutions based on requirements and user experience
• Organize product design reviews meetings with subject matter experts (SME) to validate requirements analysis and proposed solutions
• Understand and improve the functionalities of mobile network automations solutions including performance monitoring, optimization, and self-organized network.
• Prepare solution description, functional specification, and user manual documents.
• Do track issues over Issue Tracing Solutions and keep knowledge database updated
• Continuous communication with Software Quality Assurance department for functional, integration and system level test results
• Collaborate with development, integration, project management and customer support departments to evaluate or diagnose problems and recommend possible solutions.

What you need to be successful:

• Having an engineering degree in relevant university departments such as Electrical, Electronics, Communications, Computer or Software Engineering
• Min 1 year of experience in relevant fields like design, testing, radio optimization or planning
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is a must
• Willingness to document yielded know-how and good quality of documentation skills
• Good understanding of data and hands on experience to query with SQL
• Python knowledge is a plus for proof-of-concept developments
• Proven skills on user-experience modelling
• Hands-on experience with at least one vendor out of Ericsson, Huawei, Nokia, ZTE vendors and understanding of OSS systems is a plus
• Good understanding of mobile telecommunication architecture is a plus
• Passionate about experiencing new technologies and applying to business for improvements
• An excellent communicator and result oriented team player to deliver business value
