What We Expect

• Lead and oversee transportation operations across 10 plants and 6 warehouses, ensuring efficient truck departures and managing the budget for truck and freight distribution activities.
• Drive initiatives related to sustainability goals of company and ensuring eco-friendly logistics practices.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics providers, ensuring seamless collaboration and operational efficiency.
• Manage logistics on time in load KPI and daily vehicle supply ratio and react any truck shortages across 10 plants.
• Foster effective relationships with plant warehouse employees and supervisors, facilitating communication and alignment on day-to-day operations.
• Prepare and deliver executive summary reports, providing key insights and updates to senior management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and resolve logistical challenges proactively.

Qualifications

• University Graduate (Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering graduates are preferable)
• Good command of English and fluent in Turkish is must (both speaking & writing)
• Locate / willing to locate in İstanbul
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with third-party vendors.
• Proficiency in sustainability practices related to transportation is a plus.
