What is this role, and how does it positively impact the business?

The Marketing Coordinator role supports and enables local “last mile” marketing execution through centralized marketing services and provides expertise in marketing tools, engines, and campaigns. They provide end-to-end planning, execution, and analysis services, with tangible positive results for key performance indicators. They also ensure that campaigns are running seamlessly across different systems and tools, so they provide a great experience for our customers and partners.

This role sits within the Commercial discipline and is focusing on business customers.

Responsibilities:

Activities Planning & Set-up

  • Translates client’s marketing objectives to a demand generation plan
  • Implements governance principles in planning, set-up and measurement of demand generation activities
  • Applies targeting criteria and leverages pre-defined target lists

Execution & Project Management

  • Act as Project Manager with full responsibility for activity execution and its results
  • Co-ordinates all parties involved in an activity – VML and client stakeholders and third parties
  • Reviews activities copy localizations

Data & Insights

  • Collects, interprets and reports results of activities, makes recommendation to client stakeholders on improvements
  • Ensures all business leads are properly registered
  • Validates all customer journey data flow

Subject Matter Expertise & Stakeholder Management

  • Advises stakeholders on overall activities execution processes, KPIs, deployment of tools and services
  • Acts as advisor on commercial marketing tools and services

Required skills & competencies:

  • Ideally completed studies in any marketing-related field
  • Broad understanding of various marketing concepts, strategies and tactics, incl. marketing channels
  • 4+ years’ experience in marketing activities execution, incl. 2+ years in client-facing role with assigned account management responsibilities High level of compliance with company rules & processes, e. g. personal data protection or brand guidelines
  • Experience in managing marketing projects and campaigns of growing complexity Experience in advanced data analytics, insights generation and data-driven stakeholder consulting
  • Solid skills in Microsoft tools and software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
  • Solid command skills and ability to share often complex information in structured way
  • Experience in cooperation with variety of stakeholders on client and agency side; Exposure to senior client stakeholders Ability to simultaneously manage multiple events and activities, and ability to prioritize urgent and important tasks
  • A strong team player with ability to establish working relations with culturally diverse internal and external partners
  • Strong in problem solving skills and orientation to detail
  • Fluent English is essential (requirement for additional language skills may apply)
