Sea Logistics Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities with a clear focus on SME customers. They have a thorough, up to date and in-depth understanding of the trade-lane(s) in terms of the geography of the trade, and the service offerings, such as sailings, transit times, reliability, specific country documentation regulations, local standards, operational requirements, as well as the type of industry/goods/commodity traded on the particular routes. They spend most of the time in customer-facing activities, hunting for new business, and working hand in hand with the Customer Care Personnel (customer care tasks) on the same customers. Sea Logistics Sales Representative takes pricing decision in alignment with the Customer Care Manager, and following the Trade Management/Pricing recommendations.
How you create impact
- Generating new business opportunities with a clear focus on SMEs.
- Taking pricing decisions in alignment with the Customer Care Managers.
- Preparing quotations using our online tools and submitting our proposals to customers.
- Demonstrating superior Sea Logistics product and trade knowledge.
- Delivering presentations about our main Sea Logistics products.
- Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing and products.
- Reporting customer complaints to the Customer Care Team.
- Aligning with the Customer Care Team when onboarding new customers and providing robust and complete content in the Customer Promise/CCL handover form.
- Using CoreLOG to maintain and update customer information.
- Performing the related CRM tasks/activities. Regularly reviewing the customers’ portfolio with the CCL managers and Customer Care Team.
- Closing customer deals.

What we would like you to bring
- Minimum bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 5 years of extensive track record of professional experience and success as field sales representative in the forwarding / logistics sector.
- A reliable, trustworthy and serious demeanour.
- Excellent negotiating and closure skills, ability to work on your own initiative and in a highly organized way.
- A good knowledge of spoken and written English and native Turkish.
- Very good computer skills, particularly MS Office.
- A valid driving license and able to travel.
