This Position reports to:

Business Manager – E2E

Your role and responsibilities

  • Leads the country by example. Implements the Global Divisions’ and Business Lines strategy in Turkiye within the area of responsibility
  • Ensures development of financial and business performance targets in line with Global Motion and Divisions’ Strategy and ensures achievement through developing and executing plans
  • Evaluates market opportunities in line with the Division’s strategy and coordinates activities with other local businesses and across the region where appropriate
  • Ensure profitable business growth within the local divisions and allocated markets. Delivers profitable business growth in the Country and allocated markets by maximizing geographic coverage and channel penetration, as well as focusing on industry segments in the domestic allocated market
  • Work closely with Regional and Global Division/Business Lines teams to best utilize resources available and to generate growth opportunities for the Division in allocated markets. Optimizes business on a local scale, taking advantage of the Group’s local and global resources. Periodically conducts the sales reviews with the Division Regional Sales Manager
  • Develop and sustain a customer-centric culture within the organization and across different teams and functions. Builds and maintains strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure a superior customer experience
  • Understands the market and has a clear Go to Market model. Ensure sales productivity is met in the local market
  • Implements HSE and business compliance standards and regulations within the units. Live the ABB values and Group standards
  • Defines sales objectives for the team and drives the team to achieve the targets, leveraging Sales Incentive plans that represent clear local accountability for each of the defined business lines
  • Implements an appropriate organization to develop people and the local organization. Guides, motivates, and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies
  • Collaboration and coordination with other Divisions and LSU PiP manager to maximize the customer development and customer expectations towards growth

Qualifications for the role

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience of running a front-end marketing and sales operation with full P&L responsibility and demonstrating a profitable growth record
  • B.SC in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
  • Strategic P&L knowledge and management Skills
  • Strong background in Automation and Motion business
  • Excellent Market Knowledge and sharp business development skills
  • Strong inclusive leadership profile and skill set
  • Strong experience in performance management for sizable and diverse teams
  • Growth mindset and ability to lead sizable and diverse teams in challenging conditions
  • Solid experience in multinational organizations and multicultural business environments
  • People Management Skills – ability to develop people to the best of their ability
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of Turkish is required
