Role: Manages local export cargo loadings by being more pro-active, resulting a reduction of roll over/short-fall, vessel filling factor increase and data integrity with corporate tools and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact customers and re-confirm the loading intention of their bookings,
- Perform pre-call cleaning (Ensure all necessary documentation are submitted (Customs, operations, destinations customs, like VGM,SI,DG Forms etc.) prior loading of export cargo,
- Journey Leg Controls,
- Routing Controls,
- Monitor and update FCL cut off in I-Cut off,
- Updating all reports related to business,
- Manage cut instructions,
- Manage all activities caused due to operational contingencies,
- Entry point for operations matters within Customer Care Direction,
- Analyze KPIs and identify customer behavior patterns to eventually take decision on readiness.
Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistic Transport, International Trade, or a related field,
- 1 year of relevant experience in the shipping, logistics, or related industry is preferred,
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications,
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to detect potential risks and implement preventive measures,
- Proactive, dynamic, and adaptable in a fast-paced and multicultural work environment,
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team,
- Fluency in written & verbal English is a must (part of the interview will take place in English),
- Able to work in the office 4 days per week (hybrid) in Istanbul.
