Job Responsibilities

1. Set up and disassemble the mixers and other related equipment

2. Operate paddle mixers, formulate mixes of meat and ingredients based on proper specifications

3. Maintain accurate paperwork

4. Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Minimum Qualifications

  • Good math skills
  • Forklift license or ability to obtain one
  • Ability to work with others as a team
  • No performance work action in the last 6 months
  • No attendance work actions in the last 6 months
  • PHYSICAL: Ability to lift 80 pounds from shoulder height occasionally with bending and twisting
  • No restrictions prohibiting pushing of 500-pound v-mags

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous meat mixing experience
  • Current Jennie-O Turkey Store PV3R License
  • Experience in manufacturing and processing
  • Knowledge of mix product codes
  • Problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of raw meat products

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The hiring pay range for this role is $21.15, 6 months $21.51, 1 year $22.16 per hour.
