We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our growing data team. You will work on designing and optimizing scalable data pipelines, improving data quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business decisions with reliable data solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient data pipelines and ETL workflows using Python and SQL.
- Collaborate with product and data teams to understand data requirements and build appropriate solutions.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of existing data pipelines, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Implement best practices for data governance, quality, and security.
- Build and optimize SQL queries for structured and unstructured data.
- Troubleshoot issues in data workflows and contribute to continuous improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Snowflake)
- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS
- Knowledge of ETL orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow)
- Strong understanding of version control systems
- Experience in debugging and optimizing data pipelines
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Strong written and spoken English skills
