The opportunity

Planning and managing activities related to compensation, benefits, internal equity and variable compensation policies adopted by the company, as well as external competitiveness studies, to ensure that this area’s programs and systems comply with the Firm’s strategy, procedures and policies.

Your key responsibilities

  • Drafting and updating the Firm’s compensation policies.
  • Leading the Firm’s compensation structure and submitting it to the Executive Committee for discussion and approval purposes.
  • Coordinating the design and update of salary charts based on the policy defined by the organization.
  • Leading the analysis and interpretation of salary and benefit surveys defining the actions to be taken based on the Firm’s policies.
  • Leading internal equity and external competitiveness analyses, the company’s positioning analysis and preparing salary proposals.
  • Leading salary review processes.
  • Leading and coordinating the process for communicating salary increases to employees and notifying the related areas.
  • Designing and proposing variable payment plans and schedules.
  • Leading the tasks for carrying out the process for calculating bonuses, controlling compliance with the bonus policy based on the individual and business compliance levels reported by the areas.
  • Coordinating and controlling the participation process and submitting replies to the consulting companies providing salary survey services.
  • Negotiating with consulting companies in charge of surveys involving salaries, costs and services to be purchased.
  • Participating in processes involving the preparation of the Firm’s salary payroll budget, as well as controlling and validating the booking thereof.
  • Providing advisory services as regards compensation.
  • Managing salary offers.
  • Proposing the policies to be adopted by the Firm and submitting them to the Executive Committee for approval purposes.
  • Implementing and maintaining employee benefits, analyzing and monitoring the level of acceptance and use thereof by adopting corrective measures aimed at maintaining their effectiveness.
  • Coordinating and controlling the follow-up and management of additions/deletions and changes in employee benefits.
  • Keeping abreast of the new trends as regards benefits, leading analyses in terms of feasibility and implementation costs, and developing proposals for subsequent implementation.
  • Selecting benefit suppliers and negotiating scope, terms and costs with them.
  • Ensures the accuracy of the monthly cost report with controlling the changes in employee payroll during the month (e.g. SMU changes, sign on bonus payments, salary changes etc.) and works in close coordination with Finance / Payroll team.
  • Ensures the Global and Local HR systems are up-to-date and the data in the current systems is cleaned and accurate.
  • Assists the CESA HR Infrastructure Team in the review, testing, and implementation of GHRS system upgrades or enhancements to ensure that local HR needs are addressed.
  • Leads the Comp & Ben and HR Operations Team and oversees performance and development of team members.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports requests.

Skills and attributes for success

Knowledge regarding labor regulations and payroll calculation. Vast knowledge in statistics and mathematical calculations.

To qualify for the role, you must have

University degree: Degree in Labor Relations/Human Resources or similar courses of studies.

Foreign languages: Advanced English & Turkish level, oral and written.

Office: Advanced level.

PS: 7 years in the Compensation area.
