Key Responsibilities

The job of Spa Therapist is executed satisfactorily when:

• Provide spa treatments according to the Spa menu, standards and outlined protocols. 
• Deliver special, individualized, and unique service to guests in the Spa.
• Up sell and recommend in a thoughtful way—treatments, retail and homecare. 
• Confidently handle and rectify guest queries or small complaints. 
• Ensure guests comfort and a genuine, welcoming environment for all guests.
• Ensure a proper handover is completed in the guest journey as per the
• documented standard following up on treatment experience 
• Maintain the setup, hygiene and cleanliness of treatment rooms and treatment equipment.
• Maintain complete discretion and confidentially in all communications with guests.
• Manage levels of professional stock and supplies, including linen. 
• Retain proper working knowledge of the process, benefit and outcome of all treatments and products in the Spa. 
• Reference and adjust treatments according to the guest’s health assessment.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent, coupled with at least 3 years of experience in luxury spas and health clubs, backed by verifiable references.
• Hold a certificate demonstrating knowledge in massage therapy, including anatomy, physiology, and beauty therapy.
• Exhibit proficiency in comprehending and specializing in a diverse range of beauty products, aesthetic appliances, their specifications, and applications.
• Demonstrate familiarity with the utilization of facial, nail, or other beauty technologies essential for spa treatments.
• Showcase proficiency in English, with additional advantages for proficiency in various massage techniques such as Thai, & Ayurveda.
